- Device Information: Device model, operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, mobile network information, and system performance data.
- Location Information: With your permission, I collect approximate location information to show you deals from nearby Wholesale Club stores and provide location-based recommendations.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: I use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activities and preferences.
2.3 AI Recipe Generator Data:
- When you use the AI recipe generator feature (which requires Apple Intelligence), recipe requests and generated content are processed on your device and may be sent to Apple's servers in accordance with Apple's privacy policy.
- I do not have direct access to the content of AI conversations processed through Apple Intelligence.
- Recipe metadata (such as number of recipes generated, ingredients used) may be collected to improve the service.

- Respond to your inquiries and support requests
- Send transactional messages about your account
- Send notifications about new flyers and deals if you have opted in
- Conduct surveys and collect feedback
3.4 Security and Compliance:
- Protect the security and integrity of the services
- Prevent and address fraud, unauthorized access, and other illegal activities
- Comply with legal obligations
- Enforce the Terms of Service
4. How I Share Your Information
4.1 Service Providers: I share information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services on my behalf (such as cloud hosting providers, analytics services, and payment processors).
4.2 Apple Intelligence: When you use the AI recipe generator feature, recipe requests are processed through Apple Intelligence in accordance with Apple's privacy policy. Apple may process this data on their servers to provide the AI functionality.
4.3 Compliance and Protection: When required by law or when I believe disclosure is necessary to protect my rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
4.4 Business Transfers: In the unlikely event that I sell or merge the App with another business, your information might be among the assets transferred.

5.4 Account Deletion:
You have the right to delete your account and all associated personal data at any time. To delete your account:
- Open the App and navigate to Settings
- Tap on "Account"
- Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
- Follow the confirmation steps to permanently delete your account
When you delete your account:
- All your personal information will be permanently deleted from our active systems
- Your shopping lists, saved deals, and recipes will be deleted
- We will retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as fraud prevention
- Backup copies may take up to 90 days to be fully deleted from our systems
- Information shared with third parties prior to deletion may remain with those parties according to their privacy policies
If you're unable to delete your account through the App for any reason, you can also email zakaria2011@live.no with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and we will process your request within 14 days.
5.5 GDPR and European Privacy Rights: Under applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR, you may have the following rights regarding your Personal Data:

- Weekly Subscription: $2.99 CAD per week
- Monthly Subscription: $9.99 CAD per month
- Annual Subscription: $79.99 CAD per year (approximately $6.67 per month)
- Free Trial: 7-day free trial available for new subscribers
- The length of each subscription period is clearly displayed before purchase
- Prices may vary by location and are subject to change without notice
- All prices include applicable local sales taxes
15.2 Subscription Features:
- Access to all weekly flyers from Wholesale Club stores
- Unlimited shopping lists
- AI recipe generator (requires Apple Intelligence)
- Live price tracking
- Deal notifications
- Offline access to flyers and shopping lists
- Ad-free experience
15.3 Subscription Management and Cancellation:
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings:
- For iOS: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Valu-mart Deals & Flyers → Cancel Subscription
- For Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Valu-mart Deals & Flyers → Cancel Subscription
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
- If you cancel during a free trial period, you may lose access immediately
15.4 Restoring Purchases:
If you've previously purchased a subscription and need to restore it (such as when reinstalling the app or using it on a new device):
- Go to Settings in the app
- Tap on "Subscription"
- Tap the "Restore Purchases" button
- If you had an active subscription, it will be restored
- You will not be charged again for restoring previously purchased subscriptions

15.5 Access Requirements:
The Valu-mart Deals & Flyers app requires an active subscription to access all features and functionality. There is no free tier available after the trial period ends.

16.1 Independent Application: This app is independently developed and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Valu-mart Companies Limited or Wholesale Club. All product names, logos, and brands are property of their respective owners.
16.2 Publicly Available Information: The app displays weekly flyers, deals, and pricing information that is publicly available from Wholesale Club stores. We aggregate this information to provide a convenient shopping experience.
16.3 Apple Intelligence: The AI recipe generator feature uses Apple Intelligence, which is subject to Apple's own privacy policy and terms of service. Apple Intelligence requires compatible Apple devices and software versions.
16.4 Third-Party Services: The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. All third-party services we use are GDPR and CCPA compliant.

By downloading, installing, or using the Valu-mart Deals & Flyers app, you agree to be bound by our Terms of Use, which governs your use of the application and services.
